Resumen

Este ensayo podría interpretarse como una especie de misiva en la línea de "An Appeal to the Young [Un llamado a los jóvenes]," de Kropotkin, desde viejos radicales que lograron poco hasta jóvenes radicales que deben lograr mucho. Pretendemos que nuestros comentarios sean preliminares, porque serán los jóvenes los que reconstruirán el mundo y, en el proceso, aprenderán mucho para enseñar a sus descendientes. Este ensayo se basa en las corrientes marxistas y anarquistas en su formulación de la medicina revolucionaria para la situación actual. Marx es necesario para su análisis del capitalismo, su materialismo histórico, para su teoría del valor trabajo, para su formulación de la historia como historia de la lucha de clases, para su énfasis en la praxis. El anarquismo es necesario por su odio al capitalismo, énfasis en la libertad, su desafío a la autoridad y su democracia radical.
