¿Amigos o enemigos? Crecimiento económico y salud poblacional en la América Central contemporánea
Resumen
Esta breve comunicación plantea algunos puntos de vista acerca de la provocadora pregunta "¿Resulta el crecimiento económico en una mejor salud de la población?", que luego nos lleva a reflexionar como profesionales de la salud pública en los tiempos actuales. Por lo tanto, desde este punto de vista, compartiré algunas reflexiones sobre el tema, especialmente trayendo a este campo el caso de los países centroamericanos. A primera vista, esta pregunta parece sencilla de responder, sin embargo, es necesario investigar varios aspectos con el mayor detalle posible para elaborar una respuesta razonable.
